Beliefs

Accelerationism

Nick Land believes that rapid technological advancement should be embraced, and it will lead to dismantling of society's current structure. He believes that in order for system to be improved, it must be pushed towards its collapse instead of being reformed.

Part of these ideas is so-called hyperstition. The Hyperstition (portmanteau of "superstition" and "hyper") is an ideas than bring its own reality due to existing as an idea.

Capitalism

Land views unregulated capitalism mixed with the technology as means to cause collapse of current social order. He sees the market system as very adaptive, thus capable of brining innovation and progress.

Dark Enlightenment

Land's Dark Enlightenment opposed egalitarianism and criticized fundamental principles of liberal democracy. Philosophy supports more hierarchical state in form of absolute monarchy.

Cold Anarchy and Hot Anarchy

Cold and Hot Anarchy are two contrasting terms though of by Nick Land.

Hot Anarchy is usually defined as the intense desire to change the world, willingness to use extreme actions to change, Utopian visions of society, and Universalistic belief in a single ideal model of society.

Cold Anarchy is Realist perspective focusing on interactions between multiple sovereign entities, acceptance of diverse interests and historical precedents, and international or internal framing rather than domestic
