These ideologyballs inhabit the Authoritarian Unity quadrantsection of the political compass. Their main focus is to protect the state from instability and ensure that all citizens obey the state. The ideologies in this quadrantarea of the compass are generally economically left-wing or centrist and culturaly right-wing. Most people and ideology balls outside of this quadrantsection and(as well as most Democraticdemocratic ideologies) do not like Authoritarian unityUnity ideologies, especially [[National Socialism]] and other [[Fascism|Fascists]], as they have a reputation of being totalitarian dictatorships that do not care for their citizens. orThe simplyAuthoritarian seeUnity themideologies are also seen as collectivist cringe by opponents, as authoritarians usually want social collectivization (but NOT necessarily economic collectivization, unless it’s in the Authoritarian-Left quadrant).
