Some of the Most famous Neo-Marxist concepts are Theodore Adorno's and max Horkheimer Idea of the Culture Industry where they proposed that popular culture is akin to a factory producing standardized cultural goods—films, radio programmes, magazines, etc.—that are used to manipulate mass society into passivity, and Antonio Gramsci's theory of Cultural Hegemony.
