Blanquism is an authoritarian, economically left ideology and revolutionary strategy based off the ideas of Louis Auguste Blanqui. It is a socialist ideology that advocates for a socialist revolution to take place by a coup d'état orchestrated by a small group of secretive conspirators. It believes that the aforementioned small group should push socialism using state power. It opposes Marxism and populism.
