Interculturalism

Interculturalism is a cultural ideology that holds that while cultures should be able co-exist in a single place, they should also engage in cross-cultural dialoge, interactions, and cultural fusion with one another, and that the goverment should promote common values and ideas between them as a way to hold them together and create a common, but diverse, identity.
Despite the similarities with 
Multiculturalism, Interculturalism rejects the former's indentity politics, and critices the way in how in many multicultural societies exists a tendency towards self-segregation, division, and lack of communal indentity and cohesion, instead of integration.
