*[[User:TheExtinctAnimals|TheExtinctAnimals]]: It is not necessary a cult. It is a new religious movement, which sometimes become synonymous with “cult”. I think it’s mostly because that “cult” is one of the worst labels out there, and it has been used against Falun Gong in the persecution in China. So many people that don’t agree with Falun Gong’s beliefs (like anti-communism and reactionary views) tend to put that label on.
