Liberalism, clipped to Lib, is a somewhat vague ideology generally considered to be somewhere in the center of the political compass, he was the head of the Liberal Dynasty (a title now taken by Neoliberal), he and his children absolutely dominate the Overton window of European, North American and Australian politics and vast chunks of politics of other continents, through Habsburg-style diplomacy of fucking everyone and then themselves. Liberalism can most easily be defined as a pro-free enterprise and capitalism in general, but not necessarily in favor of largely free markets as Classical Liberalism, for example, and socially progressive ideology which holds up individual freedom, equality before the law, reform, and globalist and pacifistic foreign policy. He has mildly pro-globalist views, like Neoliberalism, but not quite as much. And it really pisses him off when you call him a leftist, or socialist.

History of the term

The term Liberalism used to be used to refer to the current meaning of Classical Liberalism, but during the 30s, with the campaign of Franklin D. Roosevelt, the term changed its meaning radically to a more Social and Interventionist kind of Liberalism, which made the term Classical Liberalism appear to talk about the meaning Liberalism had before, which ended up with the creation of the term Libertarianism to differentiate Classical Liberalism and a more radical view of it.

This all influenced to get the meaning Liberalism has, which is radically different in the US and in the rest of the world, where it's more often used to describe Classical Liberalism than the US's meaning of the word.

Personality

Liberalism is often shown getting easily angered or "Triggered" by others and is shown to not be the biggest fan of violence. He is often schooled in debates.

How to Draw

  1. Draw a ball with Eyes
  2. Make it blue (preferably (#006aa7) shade of blue)
  3. Draw a golden/yellow circle (#ffd700) and then make dents in it of the blue color. (Symbolizes the world being held by the invisible hand of the market)

You're done.
