The Maoist “Anti-LGBT” stance was a product of the times that it was formulated in. Almost all modern day Maoists and Maoist organizations are strong supporters of the legalization of homosexual relations, transgender rights, etc. The majority of the world held this stance at that time and it’s used here as a lazy attack on Mao.
