I'm not a neocon. But i know what a neocon is when i see one. In my eyes,Necons are basically capitalist,small-government,socially conservative-type stuff with an interventionist foreign policy. Reagan and the Bushes, basically. Well, this page thinks 'neocon' just means interventionism. Just move this page to a new place and call it 'Interventionism' or something like that. --[[User:EatinTooHighOnTheHog|EatinTooHighOnTheHog]] ([[User talk:EatinTooHighOnTheHog|talk]]) 08:49, 19 July 2023 (UTC)

Neoconservatism is too focused on intervention

The misrepresantation is just so bad

I'm not a neocon. But i know what a neocon is when i see one. In my eyes,Necons are basically capitalist,small-government,socially conservative-type stuff with an interventionist foreign policy. Reagan and the Bushes, basically. Well, this page thinks 'neocon' just means interventionism. Just move this page to a new place and call it 'Interventionism' or something like that. --EatinTooHighOnTheHog (talk) 08:49, 19 July 2023 (UTC)

  • Q4Kaos - No ! NeoCon interpretation of "small government" should be the same as orthodox Marxism's "no state". Considering neocon is some sort of Trotskyism's descendant, that makes sense.
    • You may be right. However, neoconservatism is, by definition, conservative. Not all interventionism is neoconservatism. Liberal hawkism, socalist hawkism etc. are obviously a separate thing. EatinTooHighOnTheHog (talk) 01:21, 9 June 2024 (UTC)
  • TheElectricBomb - We should carry parts of Neoconservatism to the PCBA page. But your right, a huge chunk of this is just "Interventionism". Thankfully there's already a page on PCBA for that. But I'm kinda lazy.
