Democratic Socialism, commonly shortened to DemSoc, and not to be confused with Social Democracy, is a left-wing ideology inhabiting the bottom center of the authoritarian left quadrant/top center of the libertarian left quadrant.

He believes the best way to achieve a socialist society is through democracy and reform. He also advocates for public ownership of large businesses and either a limited market composed of worker cooperatives or decentralized planning.
