Eco-Socialism believes in the abolition of [[file:Cap.png]] [[Capitalism]], in the belief that it puts profits over the environment, and the establishment of a socialist economy that's environmentally sensitive and sustainable. It can be anywhere from [[File:AuthSoc.png]] centrally planned and [[File:Marketsoc.png]] coop.

They were the first to push for a "[https://www.gp.org/green_new_deal Green New Deal]" (originally created by European Greens), which would be for a transition to 100% green energy along with a carbon tax, in addition to others, including increased jobs, and an [[File:Lpop.png]] [https://howiehawkins.us/the-economic-bill-of-rights/ Economic Bill of Rights]. Services that would be for free include [[File:Univhealth.png]] single-payer healthcare, [[File:UBI.png]] universal basic income, all public (including higher) education, child care, and urban mass transit. Goods and services that would be available at low cost would include public housing, power, broadband, and water.

Other positions would include strong opposition to privatization, cancelling student debt, the right to contraceptives and [[File:Abort.png]] abortions, access to medical treatment for [[File:Trans.png]] transgender people and protecting other [[File:Gay.png]] [[:Category:LGBT|LGBT+]] rights, protecting animal rights, promoting [[File:Secular.png]] secularism and the separation of church and state, reparations to [[File:AfricanAmerican.png]] African Americans, [[File:Marilegal.png]] legalization of marijuana and ending the "War on Drugs", repeal of three strike laws, end of death penalty, and banning private prisons.

The Green Party adapts [[File:Pac.png]] pacifism, [[File:Internation.png]] Internationalism, and [[File:Globnat.png]] [[Alter-Globalization]]. The Green Party supports a ban on arms sales to foreign countries, banning nuclear testing, cutting the military budget in half, cutting foreign aid to countries with poor LGBT+ rights records, support for the Boycott, Divestment and Sanctions (BDS) movement and that the [[File:Cball-US.png]] United States sign the Comprehensive Nuclear-Test-Ban Treaty, the Iran nuclear deal, and the Non-Proliferation Treaty.
