Beliefs/Foundations

The current incarnation of the alt-right movement was created by Richard Spencer, a American white supremacist, in 2010, when he created the "AlternativeRight.com" website. Spencer has displayed his Neo-Nazi and racial supremacist views.

Racial Nationalism

The alt-right is a white nationalist movement. Many members of the movement, especially in Europe, also believe in Identitarianism, a pan-European far-right political movement that advocates for anti-multiculturalism and cultural supremacy. Many people in the alt-right are neo-Confederates who commonly use Confederate imagery and symbolism. Many people inside of the alt-right movement have shown Anti-Black views, Anti-Hispanic views, anti-Arab views, and anti-Hindu views.

Manosphere

Many people in the alt-right are also part of the Manosphere movement, as they believe that masculinity and traditional culture are under threat by things such as homosexuality and Feminism.

Anti-Semitism

Most members of the alt-right movement are anti-Semitic. Members of the alt-right commonly spread conspiracy theories and anti-semitic tropes about Jewish people, such as the "Jewish Bolshevism" conspiracy theory, that alleges that Jewish people were behind the Russian Revolution.

Paleoconservativism

Most members of the alt-right movement are opposed to most mainstream conservative ideologies, seeing them as incompatible with things such as white supremacy due to their support for Israel and foreign interventions. Many famous members of the alt-right movement hold paleoconservative views, the most famous of them being Nick Fuentes.
