General Beliefs

Economy

I support a socialist economy with worker-self management and workers cooperatives. I also support universal healthcare and land reform.

Social Issues

LGBTQ issues

I support Same-sex marriage. This is a belief that all socialists should have, and agree on, since equality is a core tenant of socialism. It's "Stand up, all victims of oppression" not "Stand up, some victims of oppression". Conservative "socialism" is a oxymoron, as opposing rights for LGBTQ people is a position that is supported by reactionaries. Also, conservative figures like Trump have stated their opposition to socialism and communism, which makes it more of a oxymoron.

Trans Rights

Trans rights are valid! Explanation is same as above, plus: Transphobia harms cis people (like me) too, as there have been cases when cis people have been harmed by transphobes who assumed that they were trans.

Abortion

Abortion is healthcare and a human right. People who oppose abortion just want aren't "pro-life" they are just anti-women. For example, if the baby was a immigrant, would "pro-life" Republicans want to spare it from being separated from its family, or possibly being killed in a hate crime? No! What if the baby was black, and was unjustly killed by police? Would "Pro-Life" people care? No, as they would try to justify the actions of the police officer. Also, its ironic that many "pro-life" people support Israel, who is killing Palestinian children in its genocide.

Immigration

I am a supporter of immigration. Immigrants are not criminals; They just want a new home. The recent surge in anti-immigrant rhetoric is unreasonable and racist. Even if a migrant commits a crime, it would be bad to punish all immigrants as a result of that. Also, America was built by immigrants.

Police abolition

I support replacing police with community volunteers, as the current police system is oppressive and authoritarian.

Guns

I support gun rights, but not the Republican kind of gun rights. For example, minorites that are often targeted by hate crimes (LGBTQ people, migrants etc) should be able to defend themselves. However, I support restrictions being put in place so that far-right extremists dont have access to guns. The far-right commits mass shootings more than the "far-left".

Foreign views/Stances on foreign conflicts and governments

Russian invasion of Ukraine

I support Ukraine. This is because I am opposed to Imperialism in all of it's forms. Russia has committed war crimes and atrocities against Ukrainian civilians, such as the Bucha and Izium massacres and other strikes that have killed dozens of civilians. Russia is committing a genocide.

Stance on the Ukrainian government

I believe that the Ukrainian government has some issues. First, I don't like how the Ukrainian government collaborates with organizations such as the Azov Battalion and the Russian Volunteer Corps. The Ukrainian government should launch a investigation into these organizations. Also, I don't like how Zelensky basically revoked the right to strike.

Israeli- Palestinian Conflict

I support Palestine. This is because of the fact that Israel has been illegally occupying Palestinian territories in areas such as the West Bank, and due to the fact that Israel is literally a apartheid state that has killed over 40,000 Palestinian civilians in this genocide.

Iran

I oppose the current Iranian government. I don't like how it is oppressive towards its citizens, and how it treats women and other opposition activists. Iran is basically a capitalist dictatorship, and "leftists" who support it are dumb, since the government of Iran has executed left-wing activists. However, I oppose the parts of the opposition who want to return to the Pahavi era, as that's also dumb.
