Alt-Right

Alternative Right clipped to Alt-Right is an informal and at times vague grouping of culturally right-wing ideologies which are grouped together usually by being opposed to mainstream politics. Ideologies which have been classed as Alt-Right include White Nationalism, File:Pcb ethnonat icon.pngEthnonationalism in general, Modern forms of Fascism and National Socialism but also remnants of the Old Right (File:Plcn.pngPaleoconservatism, Paleolibertarianism), Right-Wing Populism, National Liberals and openly Anti-Socialist movements.

While originally a right-wing term, the term has been largely accused of being a pejorative used by the progressives against the right, used for equating anyone who is to the right of Neoconservatives to Nazis. In turn the term Alt-Lite has been used for groups who while being opposed to mainstream politics do not show sympathies to the policies of fascism and File:Pcb ethnonat icon.pngEthnic Nationalism.
