Bull Moose Progressivism
Progressive-Era Progressivism (PEP) retroactively called National Progressivism (NatProg) or Bull Moose Progressivism (BMP) is an economically centre-left ideology prominent in the United States of America between the period of time after the Gilded Age and before the end of the First World War, although starting before the Gilded Age and continuing after the WW1.
"I'm as strong as a bull moose and you can use me to the limit."
Given that American President Theodore Roosevelt was its most famous proponent, NatProg is often used as a stand in or at least modelled on him, which can be seen given his design incorporating Teddy Roosevelt's glasses and cap as well as the optional Big Club. Another famous proponent of a form of NatProg was 
Woodrow Wilson, although he was extremely racist and much less imperialist than Teddy.
Beliefs
Bull Moose Progressive wants a Square Deal for all citizens (the 3 C's of Conservation of natural resources, Control of corporations, and Consumer protection) as well as a strong military and trust busting.
Bull Moose Progressive is not too different to modern 
Progressivism, as both want welfare programs, improvements for workers rights, and transparency of political campaign contributions, but they differ in several meaningful ways.
Firstly; its positive attitude towards nationalism and military intervention instead of multicultural internationalism, Secondly; its more positive attitude towards traditional masculinity compared to modern progressivism's more negative attitude and Thirdly; having less of a focus on modern cultural issues due the fact it was prominent in the past.
Variants
Classical Progressivism 
Classical Progressivism, also known as 
Paleoprogressivism, is a form of progressivism. Paleoprogressives believe that progress or 
social justice is defined by removing barriers to human potential by 
eliminating outdated customs and traditions; as well as advancing 
technological and 
scientific progress. Paleoprogressives historically differed on how to achieve these aims. However, most of them historically were supporters of 
Nationalism, 
Eugenicism, and 
Industrialism. While paleoprogressives can therefore embrace identity politics, often as a means to an end (i.e., the racism of Woodrow Wilson or the 
original feminists), what distinguishes them from modern progressives is the emphasis on 
diversity and inclusion being inherent goods. So a paleoprogressive would be more willing to accept 
drug legalization on the grounds it would exterminate the weak, leading to higher in-group potential (and thus social justice), while modern progressives focus on the injustices criminalizing drugs have on minority communities. So the ends might be similar, but the means and the logic behind them are distinct. Classically progressive ideologies include: 
New Deal Liberalism, 
Kemalism, and 
Bull Moose Progressivism. 
Spencerism is a modern example of paleoprogressivism.
National Progressivism
National Progressivism is a civically variable, 
culturally left-wing, economically variable (but usually 
left-wing), and nationalist ideology. National progressives, fundamentally, are nationalists with progressive attitudes. National progressives are very similar to paleoprogressives insofar as they typically define progress as tearing down barriers to the nation's true potential. How far they go in this respect varies. National progressives, for instance, tend to have extensive overlap with 
authoritarian civic nationalists in the modern day, believing that racial division hinders societal progress and should be stamped out through forced integration. In practice this can be similar to what modern-day "social justice warriors" want in the form of diversity quotas and criminalizing hate speech. However, national progressives, by virtue of being nationalists, will use different logic than their anti-nationalist counterparts. National progressives are typically found somewhere between the hyper-progressive nationalism of 
Futurism and the old-school progressives of yesteryear, often being odd bedfellows with both.
Taftism
Taftism is based on the ideas and policies of President and later chief justice, William Howard Taft. Taft was strongly opposed to trusts, and helped to bust even more than Theodore did in 8 years. However Taft was more moderate on other progressive reforms such as, electoral reform, democraticization and a welfare state. Taft was also strongly protectionist and signed the Payne-Aldrich tarrif which was incredibly controversial and was seen by many progressives as an act of corruption.
Wilsonianism
Wilsonianism is the ideology based on the Policies of Woodrow Wilson. it's extremely Internationalist, racist and authoritarian. The principles of Wilsonianism include the 14th Points, and Economic & Social reforms.
Wilsonianism believes in a 
liberal welfare state, but with authoritarian characteristics, 
white supremacy, and women's suffrage. It is 
world federalist and 
pacifist, but 
imperialistic and 
patriotic during the war. Wilsonianism also supported eugenics, including compulsory sterilizations for convicted felons and the disabled. It can be considered feminist, as it supports women's right to vote. However, it is also very very racist and hates black people.
History
B.M. Progressivism has its roots in 
Enlightenment Thought philosophy with the development of history as a progression from "barbarism to civilization".
An egalitarian notion of progressivism, seeing society as an inevitable rise to more and more equality can be traced to the 
Jacobin movement during the French Revolution with thinkers like Marquis Condorcet.
The evolution of Jacobinism into various socialist movements brought new left-wing influences into American politics as well. While socialist ideology never gained major support in the early 20th century United States, a synthesis of these new notions of equality and the use of the state to achieve social justice emerged in response to the crises of the Civil War and the Gilded Age. These movements eventually coalesced into the Progressive Movement, which envisioned a modern America which would be a bastion of democracy and social justice at home, and a powerful force in the realm of global affairs.
Personality
Bull Moose Progressivism acts as Teddy Roosevelt, thus speaks softly and carries a big stick.
Despite being very soft-spoken, he is extroverted, loudly shouting “BULLY” when confronted by a 
Corporatocrat, who he then beats to death with a branch. Other than that, though, he is very polite and friendly. He also may literally speak in 
Theodore Roosevelt quotes.
He can often be seen hiking in his free time, as well as horse-riding, hunting, reading and studying animals. He loves cuddling teddy bears.
How to Draw
B.M. Progressivism's design is based on the symbology of Theodore Rooselvelt's Progressive Party.
- Draw a ball.
- Fill the top 2/3rds of the ball blue fill the bottom 1/3rd with alternating red and white stripes.
- In the Blue section draw a vague outline of a Bull Moose's head.
- Add the eyes.
- (Optional) Draw a hat and glasses on the ball.
- (Optional) Draw a BIG stick with the ball
And you're done.
