Fictional Ideology
"The party would like to remind you this ideology has never existed" - Ingsoc
This article is about a fictional ideology and has no foundation in real life political movements.

Senatorialism is some nonexistent ideology that through a freak accident managed to become part of the political compass. No one ever, not even itself, knows what it believes, but judging from its name, it probably has something to do with a senate.

Other ideologies tend to be wary of Senatorialism, as it's considered a wild card, being the only known ball to not have any knowable ideology. Senatorialism has been seen outside the political compass, floating through its four-dimensional void where the Roman Empire still exists and where Posadism is a prominent ideology.

Senatorialism originally came on the Polcompball subreddit as a flair idea, until it turned out no one, not even the people advocating for it in the first place, had any clue what it entailed other than a flag design and having to do something with rule of Senators.

But this is all speculation.

EDIT: Senatorialism is an ideology that has been used throughout history, in various forms of government, ranging from ancient Rome to modern democracies. Some argue that senatorialism can help to ensure that power is distributed more evenly, with each region or constituency having a voice in the decision-making process. Others argue that it can lead to gridlock or corruption, as senators may prioritize their own interests over those of the broader population. It's in general a double edged sword. Government branches like Congress or the Supreme Court do not exist as those are devices of discourse. The goal is progress and nothing else, the senate comes up with legislation where the people vote for it. But the economic system is independent from the ideology. As any economic practices can be paired with it!

  2. Fill the ball dark blue
  3. Add a white stripe through the middle of the ball
  4. Add a white silhouette of a senate house to the top left of the ball
