Alt-Lite, a portmanteau of " Alt-Right" and "Lite" is a broad ideological label describing a set of movements which portray relatively
moderate views while still maintaining a right-wing opposition to mainstream politics. It is economically centre-right to far-right, civically variable and culturally centre-right to far-right.
Alt-Lites are generally distinguished by having a much lower interest in the issues of race as compared to Alt-Rights, usually favoring some form of Civic Nationalism or
Cultural Nationalism. Instead Alt-Lite is usually much more concerned with over the issues of culture, economics and what is being pushed by the state.
They are found in the right side of the Political Compass, with the overwhelming majority of them being in the Authoritarian and
Right Unity side, with a few on the
Libertarian side.
History
The term "Alt-Lite" began to be used around 2017, mostly following the aftermath of the "Unite the Right" rally in Charlottesville, Virginia, in reference to those who had criticized the rally and tried to dissassociate themselves from it. However, people within the western online right-wing held to similar views since long before then. The people who in 2017 would be associated with the Alt-Lite were associated with the 'Gamergate' controversy in 2014.
Variants
Anti-SJW
Anti-SJW is an overarching but predominantly capitalist and
conservative ideology and an opposition to "
SJWs", "woke culture" and "cancel culture". It emerged in mid-2011, when
SJW became a derogatory term and meme on
Twitter and KnowYourMeme.
Anti-SJWs are currently on
Twitter,
Reddit, KnowYourMeme and
YouTube, opposing
feminism,
euphemisms along with
SJWs hypersensitivity and generally opposing left-wing ideologies as quite a few
SJWs are communist. They oppose gender ideology and the current
LGBTQQIP2SAAONPND+ movement, even though some
Anti-SJWs are
LGBT, such as
Blaire White. Some claim that
Anti-SJWs have gotten just as hyped up as
SJWs, and that a portion would be sexist and racist. Other things
Anti-SJWs are supporting the purchase of
Elon Musk from twitter and claiming that some feminists are hypocritical about the world of
Islam, some use
SJWs as a political campaign, self-proclaimed defenders of free speech
(except on a few occasions) and an opposition to File:Prog.png Progressivism, claiming it is SJW.
(In this text, the word SJW was said 12 times with no definition whatsoever)
Anthony Cumia Thought
Bannonism
Bannonism is a culturally right-wing to far-right, economically centre-to-centre-right ideology based on the views of Steve Bannon, former chairman of Breitbart and chief strategist of Donald Trump. He can be considered as being in between
Alt-Right and
Alt-Lite, as he's more moderate than the former but also more radical than the latter. Other than drawing from standard
right-wing populist rhetoric, he has been influenced by more radical reactionary thinkers such as
Julius Evola,
Aleksandr Dugin, and
Curtis Yarvin.
Carl Benjamin Thought
Carl Benjamin Thought or Sargonism is a culturally centre-right to right-wing, nationalist, civically moderately libertarian and economically centre-right based on the views of English political commentator Carl Benjamin, also known as Sargon of Akkad (his YouTube nickname), whose online content is principally against File:Progress.png progressive,
globalist,
feminist,
communist, and
anti-capitalist viewpoints in politics and culture.
Benjamin has previously called himself a "classical liberal", despite his strong support of
conservative and
nationalist movements such as
Brexit, with him being a former member of
UKIP. He has since moved away from using the term to describe himself as has gone on to criticise the doctrine of
liberalism.[11][12] Benjamin initially also used to identify as a
Social Liberal, due to his strong support for
socialised healthcare and
welfare, even calling himself
centre-left; however, he has since become more economically right-wing, believing that the welfare state should be reduced.
DC Wiki Model
DC Wiki Model is a culturally right-wing (but not too much), economically right-wing ideology which is about DC Wiki, the biggest humor/satire wiki in South Korea. Even though the wiki is notorious for criticizing almost any political ideologies (especially extreme ones), the wiki is also well-known for its sinophobic, homophobic, Anti-SJW, Anti-islam, anti-communist and Anti-feminist characteristics in South Korea.
Seibtism
Seibtism is culturally right-wing and right-libertarian, in which it is based on the political views of political activist and self-styled " anti-Greta" Naomi Seibt. It is based on
Anarcho-Capitalism, especially influenced by
F.A. Hayek, defense of
Direct Democracy, opposition to immigration (what got her into politics), opposition to abortion and maritime rescue and covid denial, especially against the PCR test. One of her most controversial things is her denial of climate change, especially activist
Greta Thunberg, also being against climate protection measures. Along with accusations of her being
Alt-Right, especially for herself declaring a fan of
Stefan Molyneux and her saying in 2019 that
whites come in being oppressed by Jews
. She stated that she has the possibility that Planned Parenthood would be trading body parts from aborted fetuses and that she was temporarily convinced that the Wayfair company would offer children on its website, she also had dealings with
QAnon. In 2021, her YouTube account was banned.
Bennettism/Liberty Hangoutism
Bennettism/Liberty Hangoutism is the political philosophy of Kaitlin Bennett, aka The Kent State Gun Girl, and Liberty Hangout, a media outlet which until recently self described themselves as being Libertarian. Bennett first gained media attention in 2018 for open carrying an AR-10 on the Kent State campus after graduating. A year later she married her husband
Justin Moldow, the founder of Liberty Hangout. The two of them run Liberty Hangout, which used to describe themselves as a libertarian media outlet, and now describes themselves as a
Conservative media outlet. However many describe it as promoting
Catholic Fascism and
Monarchism. Liberty Hangout are known for their inflammatory tweets such as wanting
Donald Trump to declare himself king,[13]or saying that those who want a separation of church and state are "losers and Satanists."[14] Due to these outrageous tweets some have speculated that their Twitter account is actually a
Satirical account.
Revolutionary Capitalism
Gavin McInnes Thought/Proud Boys Ideology ![](//static.miraheze.org/polcompballwiki/2/24/ProudBoy.png)
Gavin McInnes Thought is a culturally and economically right-wing, nationalist, civically varied (though he has claimed to be a libertarian) ideology based on the views of British-born Canadian political commentator and satirist Gavin McInnes. McInnes co-founded
Vice Media in 1994 and also created the
Proud Boys in 2016 in New York City, where he has resided since 1999. Much like
Bannonism, he is more radical than
Alt-Lite, but more moderate than
Alt-Right, having openly disavowed
white nationalist identity politics and preferring to call himself a
"Western Chauvinist," claiming that it allows you to have
black conservative friends who care about preserving
traditional Western values as well.

Kiwi Farms Model
The Kiwi Farms Model is an ideology that represents the users of Kiwi Farms, an internet forum dedicated to discussing internet personalities as well as current and past events.
Joshua Moon, also known as "Null," a former
8chan moderator, created Kiwi Farms in February 2013. It was originally known as CWCki Forums, and was created to discuss a frequently trolled
autist artist named Christine Weston Chandler, formerly known as Christopher "Christian" Weston Chandler, or simply "Chris-Chan," who is best known online for creating the infamous webcomic Sonichu. It soon became known as "Kiwi Farms" in 2014. Many people from different backgrounds have threads devoted to them on the website, including
LGBT+ people, disabled people,
"lolcows" (foolish people who don’t understand that their behaviours are amusing to others),
feminists, internet personalities,
journalists, political figures, the
BreadTube community, and people on the
Alt-Right. Many threads on the site consist of and critique
transgender people, who are commonly regarded as being mentally ill by Kiwi Farms users, with the terms "troon" and "tranny" being pejoratively used to describe them. When discussing
transgender people, users frequently refer to them by their "deadname," use their original pronouns, and often accuse transgender females (or "trans-identified males" as they are known as on the site) of being "AGPs" (autogynephilic transsexuals - males, typically heterosexual, who have sexual fantasies over the thought of being a female).
Politically, Kiwi Farms has users with a wide range of political beliefs; however, opposing transgenderism is widely accepted on the website, with TERFs and other
anti-trans figures being highly regarded. Despite having
Alt-Lite viewpoints in general, users have critiqued many
Alt-Lite figures, including
Carl Benjamin and
Jordan Peterson, as well as members of the
Alt-Right, most notably Ethan Ralph and
Nick Fuentes, with allegations of Nick being a closeted
homosexual who has watched
transgender porn.
AwakenWithJPism
AwakenWithJPism is based on the thoughts of American political figure Jonathan Patrick Sears aka JP Sears.
He was born in Toledo, Ohio,
United States of America on April 12th 1981, but then raised in the small city of Bowling Green while he was a
class clown in his youth during school and he attended the Bowling Green State University but withdrew after several months to begin studying holistic culture at the Ohio life coaching school called Journeys of Wisdom.
In 2004, JP Sears moved to San Diego,
California to begin work as a professional life coach but prior to his appearance on
YouTube he operated a website called HolisticHealthAndFitness.Com in which featured links to supplements along with a website of alternative medicine proponent Joseph Mercola and in April 4th 2013 he began uploading YouTube videos providing advice on
New Age topics.
In 2014, JP Sears relocated to Charleston, South Carolina after which he changed the tone of his videos from serious life coaching to satirical life coaching but in March 17th 2015, he received notable attention for a YouTube video that he made titled "How to Become Gluten Intolerant" and in the video he delivers lines such as "If you're ready to have a ravenous appetite for impossible standards and dogmatic feelings of victimization, then let's get started on what you need to do to become gluten intolerant" in a deadpan sarcastic manner typical of his YouTube content's approach to satire.
JP Sears primarily performs as a satirist even in an interview with the "Naples Daily News" as he said "I use comedy to share "sincere life advice and balances" "the sincere and the satirical" while eschewing the idea that "you're either serious like
Deepak Chopra or you're only joking around like a comedian." but he has rejected being categorized as either sincere or humorous explaining that he is both while he is the premise of the question is like asking "do you have a right hand or do you have a left hand?" and according to himself, all of his parody is drawn from aspects of his own life but then he was cited by the
"Australian Broadcasting Corporation" (ABC News) as one of "a growing number of comedians satirising fad gluten-free & grain elimination diets".
In March 2017, JP Sears recorded a segment with CBC Radio's "Early Edition" in which host Samantha Garvey joined him in a tour of the most spiritually trendy spots in Vancouver, British Columbia,
Canada but then he recorded a video roast about
Costa Rica in which less well-received by residents so subsequently pulled the video from his channel before he issued an apology after it was criticized by Costa Rican ambassador to India named Mariela Cruz and the news outlet "Costa Rica Hoy" observed that Costa Ricans are familiar with Sears' satirical style would probably be amused by the video while those who were unfamiliar with it would not and the "Costa Rica News" an English-language newspaper observed that "this is a great lesson in cultural differences, what made JP's popularity in the States, the use of satire and parody is not going to be a successful tactic in
Latin America ... JP did realize that he had erred and sought to rectify his actions in a very public way ... Needless to say, JP will not be doing any videos about Costa Rica, he will be sticking to subjects he knows well".
In 2018, JP Sears recorded a video roast about the state of New Jersey but then a similar roast filmed the same year about Boulder, Colorado that was described by Westword free digital print media as "hilarious" and Sears speculated "about running his own dog named Zephyr for mayor but columnist Michael Roberts ultimately concluded he could always run for mayor in Zephyr's place especially given his high public profile".
In 2020, during the COVID-19 pandemic JP Sears' content shifted towards support of Conservative political views while in an interview with the "Spokesman-Review" he believed that freedoms were threatened during the pandemic inch which caused his political shift though he was not political before but then during springtime he said "being pro-freedom caused some backlash" but then he said that becoming a
Conservative comic "turned out to be great for my career" and also according to him he thinks that there are fewer Conservative comics while therefore he has a "niche" audience.
JP Sears began attempting to discredit some of the public health measures taken against COVID-19 while promoting COVID-19 conspiracy theories but then science communicator Jonathan Jarry of the "Office for Science and Society" at McGill University located at Montreal,
Quebec, Canada described Sears as part of the conspirituality trend as he combined conspiracy theories with New Age spirituality and he notes that Sears has promoted claims about COVID-19 such as that Vitamin D provides protection against the disease has referred to masks as "face suffocators" that lead to a video removed by YouTube for spreading unfounded conspiracy theories.
In September 2020, JP Sears announced that he along his wife were expecting a child before he resides in Austin, Texas with his new family that he created but then in February 2021, he appeared as a speaker at the Health Freedom Summit an online event featuring speakers that promoted Anti-Vaccination, Anti-Mask & Pro-Homeschool views while he stated that "Spirituality is super-important to me" and he has not been vaccinated against COVID-19, saying "I don't feel that I'm at risk due to my age. To be quite frank, this is the most rushed vaccine in medical history".
In September 2021, JP Sears performed at Republican politician Dan Crenshaw's Crenshaw Youth Summit while in January 23th 2022, he was the master of ceremonies at the Defeat the Mandates rally in Washington D.C. as he spoke against vaccine mandates to around 10,000 protesters alongside Anti-Vaccine activist Robert F. Kennedy Jr. & Robert W. Malone along with a physician & a biochemist who has promoted misinformation about the COVID-19 vaccines even the
New York Times characterized him as a "Conservative conspiracy theorist" while
Vice News described him as an "Anti-Vaccine comedian" and in June 22nd 2022, he created another YouTube channel called JP Reacts in which he reacting to world events as a serious way.

Personality and Behaviour
Alt-Lite is like a more watered-down version of Alt-Right. He usually looks to Alt-Right for his ideas but thinks he is a LARPing schizo. He usually tries to de-radicalize Alt-Right, though that rarely works. He also likes to play AltLife a lot.
Alt-Lite hates to be associated with Alt-Right, so he calls himself "Classical Liberal" or
"Libertarian" (even if both of them absolutely hate him for hijacking their movements) and accuses him of being a leftist movement, alternative he can also portrays himself as an
Anti-Sexist MRA or being a
Centrist who says that feminism and the left has respectively gone too far or always has been mysandric and so extremist that everyone else is in the far-right also saying that they're the true bigots and intolerants.
Acts like the stereotypical edgy 14-year-old with right-leaning culture war beliefs you'll see online. Usually calls anyone they don't like or who disagrees with them as either a "cuck" or "leftist" and likes to complain about normies. In addition, he constantly brings up the "free speech" card when someone attacks him.
